Hindu saints asked to take help from all sections of society
Ayodhya, Oct 19: Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas chief Mahant Nritya Gopal Das today appealed to Hindu saints to take help from all sections of society in the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

"The Ram temple should be constructed in an atmosphere of brotherhood and peace and to achieve that consent should be sought from all section of society in this regard," he said,
addressing a 'Hindu sammelan', organised by the VHP at Kalyan Pratishthan here.
"VHP's campaign for construction of the Ram temple has no political overtones. The saints are religious people and their spiritual power can pave way for the construction of the Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya," the Mahant said. Many senior VHP leaders, including its international president Ashok Singhal, attended the sammelan.
Meanwhile, VHP workers staged a dharna here demanding an inquiry into the alleged lathicharge on 'Ram bhakts' on October 17. The claimed that Singhal and other senior leaders were injured in the police action.
They also submitted a memorandum to the President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam and Uttar Pradesh Governor Vishnu Kant Shastri demanding a probe into the incident and immediate transfer of Lucknow Inspector General V N Rai and other officials allegedly responsible for the lathicharge. Bureau Report
