New Delhi, Dec 07: Top junior players from the continent would battle for supremacy at the ITF Asian Junior (U-18) tennis tournament beginning at the DLTA courts here tomorrow.
Besides Indians, players from China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and Uzbekistan would participate in the grade B-2 tournament which gives 120 ranking points and the Asian junior champion title to the winner.
The Indian challenge will be led by Isha Lakhani in the girls' section along with Sanaa Bhambri, Ankita Bhambri and Madura Ranganathan while Somdev Varman, Karan Rastogi, Arun Prakash and Divij Sharan will hold the Indian flag in the boys' section.
The Asian Tennis Federation is also holding the Asian under-14 championship at the same venue. Players from Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan, Bhutan, Maldives and Philippines, have entered the tournament, besides the hosts, organisers said in a statement here yesterday.
