London, Nov 29: Zee Network (UK) has won the Leadership in Best Practice award at the first ever multicultural awards of Competitiveness and Enterprise 2003. The awards are sponsored by the UK Trade and Investment in collaboration with Luton Borough Council, Business Link and HSBC.
Receiving the award from former deputy prime minister Michael Heseltine, a senior conservative leader at Luton, Zee Network`s CEO Sunil Rohra said, "we have always been in the forefront in promoting multiculturalism through our programmes as well as through various events.
“This award is perhaps, a testimony to Zee Network`s hard work throughout these nine years in building bridges and bringing together a diverse community," Rohra was quoted as saying by a press release here today.
