New Delhi, June 10: BJP general secretary Sanjay Joshi today denied media reports that he had met Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and discussed the leadership controversy with him. "I am out of Delhi for the past several days. I have met neither the Prime Minister nor the HRD minister Murli Manohar Joshi in the last few days as suggested by some media reports," Joshi said from Bangalore.

He was reacting to reports that he was summoned by the Prime Minister to brief him whether the issue of projecting Vajpayee as 'vikas purush' (man of development) and Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani as "lauh purush" (iron man) figured at the meeting of the party's state unit presidents and general secretaries at Hyderabad last month-end, as claimed by party president M Venkaiah Naidu.
