New Delhi, Sept 23: India and Israel are to hold joint exercises soon, Defence Minister George Fernandes indicated today. "There is a proposal of joint exercises with Israel," the minister said and expressed that Indian armed forces would cash in on Israel's experience in counter-terrorism methods "which can be invaluable to us".
Fernandes told a news agency that India's relations with Israel were manifold and this included import of arms and weapons system. Bureau Report
