Raipur, June 27: Attacking Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for his stand on the Ram Temple issue, the VHP today accused the Centre of holding talks with Muslim fundamentalists and opposed any talks with All India Muslim Personal Law Board, saying they are not a party to the dispute. VHP is preparing for a big fight on the Ram Temple issue, but because of Vajpayee ten Pakistans could be created as he is engaged in talks with Muslims, who do not have faith in the Indian Constitution", VHP general secretary Praveen Togadia alleged at a press conference after the inauguration of the two-day national executive meeting of the organisation here.

"In 1908 Mahatma Gandhi had surrendered to Muslim fundamentalists and subsequently Pakistan was created. The Vajpayee government is again talking to those who do not respect Indian Constitution or Supreme Court and are a body of fundamentalists", Togadia said.
"However, the rank and file of BJP are unconditionally with us on the construction of Ram Temple even though some leaders are trying for a deal on the issue", he said and opposed any talks with Muslim Personal Law Board as, he argued, they are not even a party in the court.

"We are preparing for a big fight for Ram Temple construction but there will be no Dharm Sansad and a high power committee of sants will meet next month to take a final decision on the issue", the VHP leader said. At the national executive of VHP, its international president Ashok Singhal informed the 160 delegates about the latest position of the Ram Temple movement.

It was also decided today to organise a "sant sammelan" and prepare the organisation for a massive movement on the temple issue, Togadia said.

So far, 146 MPS from Biju Janata Dal, BJP, Akali Dal and Shiv Sena have signed in favour of bringing in a legislation in Parliament for construction of the temple, he claimed but clarified this was not submitted keeping in mind next year's Lok Sabha polls. "But there will be total polarization in favour of the temple because of the VHP movement and appeal for enactment of legislation", Togadia said adding they would also finalize here a Hindu agenda which would be later on taken to the people for saffronization of India.
