R&B Stars, rappers lead Grammy nominations
LA, Dec 04: Urban music acts Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z, Outkast and Pharrell Williams led the list of contenders for the Grammy Awards with six nominations each, organizers said on Thursday.

Several artists earned five nominations each, including rappers Eminem and his protege 50 Cent, rock band Evanescence, pop singer Justin Timberlake, R&B veteran Luther Vandross and late rock singer/songwriter Warren Zevon.
In the coveted record-of-the-year category, the contenders are "Crazy in Love," performed by Knowles with Jay-Z; "Where is the Love," by funk band Black Eyed Peas with Timberlake; "Clocks" by British rock band Coldplay; "Lose Yourself" by Eminem; and "Hey Ya!" from Outkast.
Winners in all 105 categories will be announced during the 46th annual Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Feb. 8 Bureau Report
