Jammu, Oct 09: Jammu and Kashmir Vigilance Bureau today raided the office of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) and seized records relating to the land scandal allegedly involving Former Housing and Urban Development Minister Gulam Mohideen Shah and three top officials, who were booked yesterday. A team of Vigilance Bureau sleuths raided Vikas Bhawan housing JDA office and seized records, including 72 files, important documents and officials letters of former minister sent to the JDA, during the two-hour operations this afternoon, VB sources said here today. Led by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), vigilance, Alok Puri, the team, which started investigation today, will be screening the seized record of land scandal, they said. In the first action against a minister of erstwhile NC government, VB yesterday registered cases against Shah, who is currently NC Legislative Party (NCLP) chief and three top officials including former commissioner secretary, housing, A G Ahanger, vice-chairman JDA Aslam Qurashi, secretary Tushar Sharma, for allegedly abusing their official position and causing loss to the state exchequer.
