New York, Apr 30: The world's first Ferrari on display in New York, to be auctioned in August. A rare 1947 Ferrari Spyder Corsa, the oldest sports-racing Ferrari in the world, is on exhibit at Rockefeller Center, prior to going on auction in California in August. The Spyder Corsa, which launched the legendary Italian auto maker, is expected to be sold for $950, 000 -1,350,000 (USD). A car like the Spyder Corsa from the famous Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy, rarely appears on the market. It is expected to attract a lot of interest from avid car junkies with lots of money to spend, says Gordon McCall, motor car specialist for Christie's, which will handle the auction. McCall said, "There is a lot of interest in this car. Because of it's significance and the fact that it is the one and only, there are a lot of collectors."
