Jammu, Sept 06: Even as security forces were engaged in a gunbattle with militants in Kathua, another encounter broke out in Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir today in which two militants have been killed. At least one militant was still engaging the troops in an exchange of fire in Galota area in Mendhar near the Line of Control, defence sources said. The encounter broke out this morning when a joint team of Army and police raided the area on a tip off about the presence of militants, they said. Bureau Report
