New Delhi, May 30: The Delhi High Court today issued a notice to the CBI on the bail plea of hotelier Vinod Khatri, one of the accused in the DDA scam. While issuing notice to the CBI, Justice S K Aggarwal asked the probe agency to file its reply to Khatri's plea by June 13, the next date of hearing.

Justice Aggarwal has already granted bail to three sacked officials - Anand Mohan Sharan, Jagdish Chander and Subhash Sharma - after their applications were transferred to him following refusal by three other judges to entertain the same.

Earlier, Justice R C Chopra had transferred Khatri's bail application to Justice Aggarwal on Wednesday saying the matter should be heard by the court hearing other connected matters.

Khatri had surrendered before Special Judge Prem Kumar on May 7, four days after a NBW was issued against him.

The court had issued non-bailable warrant against him on May three and directed the CBI to comply with the order by May 12. Subsequently, the CBI had also issued a "look out" notice against Khatri, who owns a restaurant in south-west Delhi.

Khatri's name figures in the fourth FIR registered by the probe agency on April 29 in connection with the DDA scam along with sacked DDA vice-chairman Subash Sharma, suspended DDA official Ashok Kapoor, alleged conduit Dharambir Khattar and former Delhi High Court judge Shamit Mukherjee.
