Maoists abduct ex-Deputy Home Minister
Kathmandu, Oct 11: The Maoist rebels have abducted ex-Deputy Home Minister of Nepali Congress Mahendra Yadav from his house in Saptari district, party sources said today condemning the abduction.
Kathmandu, Oct 11: The Maoist rebels have abducted ex-Deputy Home Minister of Nepali Congress Mahendra Yadav from his house in Saptari district, party sources said today condemning the abduction.
"We strongly condemn the abduction of Yadav at a time when the Nepali Congress is launching agitation for restoration of multiparty democracy in the country," NC spokesman Arjun Narsing K C said.
"We take this incident very seriously and strongly condemn the act," he said appealing to the Maoists to immediately release him.
