Glasgow, Feb 04: Striker Derek Lilley struck a last-minute penalty to secure debt-ridden Livingston a 1-0 win over Dundee and a place in the Scottish League Cup final. Lilley slammed his spot kick high into the net at Easter Road to lift some of the gloom at the club after they were placed in administration earlier yesterday with estimated debts of 10 million pounds (18.38 million dollars).
Livingston chairman Dominic Keane also tendered his resignation on yesterday after failing to win the backing of the club's bankers.
But the club can look forward to gaining some much-needed revenue when they appear at Hampden Park for the final on March 14 against either holders Rangers or Hibernian. Bureau Report
