Kolkata, Nov 07:India captain Sourav Ganguly has announced he will be fit to play against Australia on 12 November. Ganguly is recovering after having surgery to remove an abscess from his thigh.

He said he was recovering at a fast rate and would be ready for the match in Bangalore.

Ganguly has missed the first three games of the triangular series and will also be absent against New Zealand in Cuttack on Wednesday.

Ganguly is taking antibiotics and has had some of the stitches removed and is able to walk around freely.
