Ajmer, July 26: Delhi Transport Undertaking (DTU) is likely to introduce a link deluxe bus service for the benefit of pilgrims from Pakistan coming by the Delhi-Lahore bus service to visit Ajmer, official sources here said today. A team of DTU officials had held discussions here recently with their Rajasthan road transport corporation counterparts to finalise the arrangements, sources said.
The DTU is understood to be preparing introduction of the Delhi-Ajmer link bus service for passengers from Lahore before the annual Urs of Soofi saint Khwaja Moinnudin Chisti, beginning on August 31, they said.
The link bus will take about eight hours to cover the distance of 418 kilometres between Delhi and Ajmer with a few stops enroute. Bureau Report
