New Delhi, Mar 20: A second batch of Afghan journalists today completed their diploma course at the Indian Institute of Mass Communications. Giving away the diplomas to fourteen journalists, including three women, information and broadcasting minister Ravi Shankar Prasad asked them to use their skills of information dissemination for speeding up the reconstruction and development of their country.
He said the urge for development must be ignited among the people so that they are fully involved in the process. Afghan ambassador Masood Khalidi thanked the government for not only organising training for journalists but also assistance in the reconstruction and development of the strife-torn country.
