Hyderabad, Pakistan, July 17: A small bomb exploded in a state-run hospital in a southern Pakistani city, wounding at least 11 people, police said on Thursday. The bomb exploded around mid-night on Wednesday outside the surgical ward of the Civil Hospital in Hyderabad, 160 km north of the port city of Karachi, they said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the explosion, which is the latest violence in recent months in Pakistan.
Police blame Islamic extremists, who oppose Pakistan's support to the US-led war against terror, for most of such acts. Bureau Report
