Liverpool, Arsenal coaches feted by Britain
London, July 10: Soccer coaches Arsene Wenger and Gerard Houllier were presented with honorary OBEs by British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw in London on Wednesday (July 9).
London, July 10: Soccer coaches Arsene Wenger and Gerard Houllier were presented with honorary OBEs by British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw in London on Wednesday (July 9).
The coaches for Arsenal and Liverpool respectively became honorary officers of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) in Queen Elizabeth's birthday honours list last month for their achievements with their clubs.
The presentation was made at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office by Jack Straw on behalf of the Queen.
