Jammu, Jan 03: Foiling militant plans to blow up trains on Jammu-Pathankote track, security personnel recovered 32 kgs of highly explosive RDX in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said today. The explosive, along with electronic fuses and codex wire, which was to be used for preparing landmines to target trains on Jammu-Pathankote track, was recovered after army personnel on a tip off launched a search operation in the hills of Kathua last evening, they said. The recoveries were made from forest area but no one has been arrested in this connection, they said.

Militants had on October 26 last year tried to blow up Shalimar Express near Kathua with landmines injuring 11 people. Bureau Report
