Bangalore, May 27: Spice Telecom has announced new tariff plans for post-paid and pre-paid subscribers including a slash in mobile STD rates by 33 per cent. 'The Freedom-200' plan for postpaid allows subscribers to make outgoing calls to mobile at Re 1.80 per minute and at Rs 2.50 per minute to other phones during peak hours. Monthly rental is Rs 200 for this plan with a minimum commitment of Rs 300 by the subscriber, a company release said here.

'The Freedom 249' plan for prepaid customers allows outgoing calls at Rs 1.75 per minute to mobiles and at Rs 2 per minute to other networks from 9 am to 9 pm, the release said.
From 9 pm to 9 am, the subscriber can make outgoing calls to mobile phones at Rs 1.25 per minute and to other phones at Rs 1.75 per minute. The monthly rental for this plan is Rs 249, it said.
Spice said outgoing STD calls to all phones across the country had been reduced and will be available on flat rates for various schemes. Bureau Report
