Kathmandu, May 20: The first team of the Indo-Nepal joint Army expedition will attempt to scale Mt Everest tomorrow as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of the first ascent to the highest mountain peak.
Kathmandu, May 20: The first team of the Indo-Nepal joint Army expedition will attempt to scale Mt Everest tomorrow as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of the first ascent to the highest mountain peak.
A 12-member team, including six Indian Army personnel, has reached South Cole from where they will head towards the peak, a defence ministry statement said here.
The second 13-member team including six Nepalese soldiers will attempt to scale the Everest on Thursday. The Indo-Nepal joint Army expeditions successfully scaled the Mt. Lhotse earlier this month.
