Nedumbassery, June 03: The Union Minister of state for law and justice, P C Thomas, today said that there was no scope for third front at the national level. Speaking to reporters at the Cochin international airport here, he said the relevance of the formation of a third front at the national level has been lost when the Congress party offered its willingness to have pre-poll alliance with other parties.

Referring to the recent split in Kerala Congress (J), he said that the split in Kerala Congress parties would not be beneficial to them.

Kerala Congress should try to develop influence and strengthen at the national level, for which Kerala Congress parties should join hands with Indian Federal Democratic Party (IFDP), he said.

Angamaly-Sabarimala railway line would be a reality shortly he said adding about Rs 10 crore had been earmarked for the project.
