BJP launches mass awareness campaign in Uttaranchal
Dehra Dun, Sept 25: The Uttaranchal BJP has decided to establish contact with every home in the state during its new campaign from today to build up the party base and expose the corruption and sex scandals of the Congress government.

In a statement issued here at the end of the party's two-day Executive Committee meeting held in Hardwar, last month, state BJP president, Manohar Kant Dhyani said the party would also launch a mass awareness programme from September 25 which is the birth anniversary of the late Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
The state BJP president said the party would launch a separate campaign to enrol new workers at the booth level in all the 70 assembly constituencis in the state during a programme beginning from November this year.
In this programme, party leaders would undertake yatras, Dhyani said adding all the party MPs, MLAs and office-bearers have been asked to take part in the mass contact programme.

With an eye on the coming Lok Sabha elections,the party would tell the people about various acts of corruption and sex scandals allegedly perpeterated by the Congress government led by Chief Minister, N D Tiwari.
