CII condemns bomb blast
Mumbai, Aug 25: Strongly condemning the twin bomb blasts in the city, that claimed several lives today the Confederation of Indian Industries, however, said it would not have any impact in the long run on the economy.

"We express our deep distress at these explosions and convey our sympathies to the families of those killed and injured in the twin blasts", CII president Anand Mahindra said in a release here today.
CII western region chairman Firdose Vandrevala expressed strong confidence in the resilience of the city residents and said "the explosions will not have any impact in the long run.
"India, its economy and the people are strong enough to withstand such attacks", he said adding, in spite of these explosions, it would be business as usual in the city and rest of the country. Bureau Report
