Four killed, six hurt as railway wall collapses in Delhi
New Delhi, July 05: A wall collapse due to heavy monsoon rains today killed four persons, three of them women, and injured six in a North Delhi area, police said.
New Delhi, July 05: A wall collapse due to heavy
monsoon rains today killed four persons, three of them women,
and injured six in a North Delhi area, police said.
The apparently weak boundary wall of the railways caved
in at Roshanara road at around 8.45 am amid downpour trapping
by-standers and passers-by, they said.
While four perished in the mishap, six were extricated in
injured state and were hospitalised, they said.
The dead were identified as Beena (13), Seema (19),
Satyawati (45) and Satyalal (14), police said.
Police and firemen are working to clear the debris.
