Bhopal, Mar 09: Madhya Pradesh BJP today demanded that the state government suspend without any further delay the 10 officials, including three collectors who have been found responsible for alleged irregularities in the voters' list in the state. Talking to reporters in state capital Bhopal, state BJP President Kailash Joshi said that it was not becoming of the Chief Minister Digvijay Singh to say that the Election Commission's recommendations against these officials were harsh. Earlier also Singh had been claiming that elections are won "not on the basis of development work but due to poll management," Joshi said adding, "this time, his tactics have been exposed much before the assembly elections." Warning state officials not to succumb to any pressures, Joshi asked them to make sure that whatever they did was according to the law. Bureau Report
