Paradip, July 05: After introduction of container facility at the Paradip Port here two months ago, it has now become easier for small and medium businessmen to import their required goods and export the products available in Orissa to other places, official sources said. A container having 4.5 tons of clove came from Madagascar and was unloaded here on Friday for their consumption in Orissa, Bihar, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh.

A few days earlier, five tons of spices had also been unloaded here from China.
Similarly, businessmen in Orissa also dispatched fish, coconut, tamarind and turmeric to other places in containers, the sources said. Bureau Report
