Islamabad, Oct 28: Pakistan has said President Pervez Musharraf's forthcoming visit to china beginning November 1 would create a new interface and strengthen ties between the two countries. During his five-day visit, Musharraf would meet Chinese President Hu Jintao, Prime Minister Wen Jiabao and other eaders for the first time, foreign office spokesman Masood Khan told reporters here yesterday.

Musharraf would also deliver a keynote address at the annual Conference of the Business Forum of Asia, a new body created to increase interaction amongst Asian economies, Khan said.

"Pakistan and China have a strategic partnership and close ties," he said.
Khan also recalled that Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali made a successful visit to China in March this year.
