Lucknow, Oct 05: Jewellery worth thousands of rupees and cash was found missing from the slain poetess Madhumita Shukla's house here by her brother, police said today. Madhumita's brother Vijay Shukla filed an FIR last night alleging that cash and jewellery was found missing from the house which he reopened after being handed over the keys the previous day by the CBI which is investigating the murder case.

The poetess' family was handed over the keys to the house on Friday, he said in the FIR.
Madhumita was shot dead by two armed men at her residence on May 9.
CBI has arrested former minister Amarmani Tripathi in connection with the murder. Bureau Report
