Srinagar, Sept 18: Bewitched by the beauty and climate of Kashmir, a group of 50 Malaysian tourists currently in the Valley today said they would introduce Kashmir to their countrymen as a favourite tourist destination. They said they found Kashmir an ever welcome destination as it continues to be "the paradise on earth", possessing everything that a tourist wants to see and enjoy.
With such scenic splendour, tourists across the Asian continent need not to look towards Europe or America as their destination and instead come to Kashmir for vacations, the tourists told reporters.
" Kashmir is an ideal place to visit. We will introduce Kashmir to the whole of Malaysia and launch a campaign of our own for promoting the valley as a favourite tourist destination," they assured.
Datin Fatima, a widely travelled woman among the group, giving her impression about Kashmir said "the people here are friendly, hospitable and above all they can speak English well which facilitated us, it being our second language in Malaysia."
"I have visited Switerland, New Zealand, Canada and many other countries in Europe and America but none of these can match the scenic beauty of Kashmir," she said.
"After returning home we would ask our relations and friends to make Kashmir their destination whenever they plan to travel abroad for holidaying," Fatima said.
"A beautiful place, we Malaysians would love to come to Kashmir again and again. No fear, no apprehensions. We will tell our people back home that the media somehow picks up only violence that gets highlighted at the cost of ground situation" another tourist, Haji Amanat Ali said. Bureau Report
