New Delhi, Oct 29: Rail traffic in various sections of Punjab was disrupted today following an agitation by activists of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) demanding supply of free electricity and water and subsidy on fertilisers from the state government. A Northern Railway spokesman said that the rail movement was disrupted on Jakhal-Batinda, Firozpur-Fazilka, Firzopur-Ludhiana and Firozpur-Bhatinda sections on Delhi and Firozpur divisions of Northern Railway.
Following the agitation, some passenger and goods trains were regulated at Narenderpura, Jalalabad, Moga and Talwandi stations, he said. Bureau Report
