Good news! Tirupati Balaji to visit Delhi soon

New Delhi: There is good news in store for the devotees of Tirupati Balaji. Now, you won't have to plan your vacation months in advance to offer prayers to the Lord, as reports suggest that soon the God himself will be visiting the capital city.
According to a Times of India report, the parking space of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium will turn into a prayer ground as rituals performed at Tirumala will be held in a 10-day festival starting from October 31 till November 8. This is for the first time ever that the rituals will be carried outside Andhra Pradesh.
Interestingly, the report further states that in order to add the touch of authenticity, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which manages the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, is making all possible efforts in the city. In fact, decorators who are a temple regular in Tirumala have been called here to add their finesse in decorations, reportedly.
Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavam will see around 160 priests and workers coming from Tirumala to New Delhi. The pran pratishtha of idols will be done on October 31, as per the report. Even the prasadam, which comprises the famous laddoo, will be given after the sevas. In fact, the ingredients used in preparing it will be transported from Tirumala.
