Wana, Mar 20: Pakistani forces have arrested at least 100 Al-Qaeda suspects and supporters in an operation in northwest Pakistan where up to 500 diehard fighters were believed to be hiding a top Al-Qaeda leader, a military commander said.
"Over 100 people have been arrested, including a certain number of foreigners," Lieutenant General Safdar Hussain, the commander of the operation in the South Waziristan border area, told reporters.
