Samajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday said that he had no reservations in including Laloo Prasad Yadav led Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), in the newly floated people`s front to strengthen it further and make it a viable alternative to BJP and Congress.

Addressing an election meeting here in support of his party nominee, Ram Pal Verma for the April seven by-poll in Haidargarh, Yadav said former West Bengal Chief Minister Jyoti Basu had stated that he wanted inclusion of both Mulayan Singh Yadav and Laloo Prasad Yadav in the front and hence he agreed to the suggestion in national interest.

Yadav said that he also agreed to join hands with former prime minister V P Singh for the purpose of providing a viable alternative to BJP and Congress.
Yadav, who is also convenor of the People`s Front, said BJP has compromised the interest of farmers and the poor by signing the WTO.

Those who had given the slogan of gai hamari mata hai (cow is our mother) would now allow import of cow meat in the country after agreeing to the WTO resolution, he said. Bureau Report
