The NDA will launch a fortnight-long campaign this Sunday to counter the Opposition onslaught against the government on tehelka expose with Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee addressing a rally in Bangalore on April five. Announcing the schedule for the first five days, rural development minister M Venkaiah Naidu said the campaign to take the truth to the people would begin with a rally on April 1 in Kochi. It will be addressed by home minister L K Advani and former defence minister George Fernandes along with NDA leaders from Kerala. On April 2, a rally would be held in Tiruchnapalli and will be addressed by Advani, Fernandes, BJP president Jana Krishnamurthy and NDA partners from Tamil Nadu including DMK and MDMK, Naidu said. He said two days later a rally would be held in Hyderabad and would be addressed by Advani, Fernandes and NDA leaders from Andhra Pradesh. Bureau Report
