London, June 04: British authorities are offering a reward of 10,000 pounds for tracing a man wanted in connection with the murder of an Indian origin woman, who was eight months pregnant when she was strangled to death.
Metropolitan police has announced the reward for information leading to the arrest of Palwinder Singh Dhillon, 64, linked to the murder of Anita Gindha.
Dhillon, a Sikh with a long white beard, who occasionally wears glasses, comes from Punjab but is believed to be in the UK.
Gindha, 27, was found dead on the sofa at her home in Manor Park, east London, by her husband, Kashmir Ralh, a builder, on his return from work on February 19.
Police believe she was strangled with a ligature, possibly made of cloth, in the morning. Her 18-month-old son was with her at that time.
There was no evidence that the killing was racially or sexually motivated, the police said.
