New Delhi, June 17: Team Swarovski and team Adidas were the big winners in the Delhi leg of the inaugural Christel House Open, which was played at the classic Golf Resort, Gurgaon, on Monday , along with 18 different golf courses across four continents. The tournament, played on a team scramble format, saw Sanjay Sharma and Werner Plonner of Swarovski combine brilliantly to produce a nett score of 58, the same as Adidas' Tarun Kunzru and Rahul Raj. On the application of tie-break over the last nine holes, team Swarovski walked away with the winner's trophy and airline tickets from Air Sahara in the Nett category.

Team Adidas, however, had the satisfaction of posting the best gross score of nine-under 63.
According to the organisers the proceeds from the Christel House Open in India will be utilised for the construction of the new learning center in Hennur, Bangalore. The learning center will provide several additional facilities to accommodate more than 2000 children from class one to twelve. Bureau Report
