New Delhi, Dec 24: Keane Inc plans to increase its headcount in India by more than 130 per cent in 2004. Keane, which employs 1100 professionals in India at present, opened its third development centre in Gurgoan. It also has development centres in Hyderabad and Noida.
The 60,000 square feet centre in Gurgaon will have 500 workstations. Keane plans to add 60,000 square feet space to this facility by early next year to take the strength of its Gurgaon centre 950-1000 professionals.
''The new centre at Gurgaon and simultaneous beefing up of our existing centres at Noida and Hyderabad are part of our strategy to cater to our growing business needs,'' Keane India managing director Parminder S Miglani said.
Keane India is CMM level 5 and ISO 9001:2000 certified and is actively pursuing its goal to achieve CMMI and PCMM quality certifications next year. Bureau Report
