Mumbai, July 20: ICICI Infotech Ltd, an Information Technology (IT) company promoted by ICICI Bank Ltd, has signed contracts with five state governments, including Delhi and Gujarat, to provide IT consultancy services and advices, for the states' Citizen to Government Initiatives (CGI). "Under the contracts, we will act as an IT advisor for CGI and help in computerising the offices, formulating IT and networking policies and help in rolling out e-governance," ICICI Infotech managing director and chief executive officer V Srinivasan said here today.
The other three states are Uttaranchal, Sikkim and Tripura, he said.
However, the managing director didn't divulge the fees ICICI Infotech would be charging for the consultancy services, stating that it differs from state to state and contract to contract.

For Delhi, the company would offer its expertise to help Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) computerise the operations of its regional transport offices. This would enable MCD offices to issue smart card-based driving licences and vehicle registration certificates, he said.
For the other states - Gujarat, Uttaranchal, Sikkim and Tripura - ICICI Infotech would help in computerising the states' land record offices, apart from providing IT consultancy and services, Srinivasan said. Bureau Report
