Lucknow, Jan 18: In a bid to contain violent protests over his government's disbanding of nine districts, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today offered a series of sops, including Rs 11 crore, for the development of the areas. Yadav said Rs 10 crore would be provided to every disbanded district for its development besides Rs. one crore each for its beautification.
Hospitals and girls colleges would be opened in the buildings that have already come up in some of the disbanded districts, he said. Bureau Report
