58 youth Congress office-bearers resign in MP
Bhopal, July 06: In a blow to the Congress ahead of assembly elections, 58 officer-bearers of the Bhopal district youth congress announced decision to resign from their posts and primary membership in protest against the functioning of its state president Meenakashi Natrajan.

The spokesman of city youth Congress, Badrinath Saini told reporters here yesterday, that the youth Congress office-bearers would meet party president, Sonia Gandhi and other senior leaders to press for their demand for Natarajan's removal.
He said that they would however continue to work under the leadership of chief minister Digvijay Singh and state Congress president, Radha Kishan Malaviya for the party in the forthcoming assembly elections.
Saini said that resignations with signatures had been sent to the Sonia Gandhi, state Congress president, Radhakishan Malaviya and chief minister, Digvijay Singh.
He alleged that Natarajan had made tall claims in her first public meeting at Bhopal but did not back it by actions.
