Gwalior, Oct 31: Anticipatory bail applications of expelled BSP leader Phool Singh Baraiyya and his two supporters, accused of stealing party's poll-related documents, were rejected by a court here today Additional district judge, A Shukla turned down the bail pleas of Baraiyya, Nainarayan Sagar and Mahesh Chandra on the ground that it may be difficult to recover the “B forms”, alleged to have been stolen from the BSP office here and added that these documents are important and their recovery was necessary. Baraiyya, who has floated a new Samata Samaj Party after ouster from BSP along with his followers, had filed the application in the face of possible arrest as two criminal complaints had been lodged here as also in Bhopal alleging theft of election-related materials from BSP offices. Sagar, former Gwalior in-charge of BSP, later said the three leaders are consulting lawyers for appealing in the High Court against rejection of their applications.
