Amritsar, Oct 06: Noted theatre personality Nadira Babbar, wife of Samajwadi Party MP and actor Raj Babbar, today said her husband would contest next Lok Sabha election from Lucknow.
Nadira, who is here to take part in the shooting of NRI director Gurinder Chadha's 'bride and prejudice', told reporters here that SP has decided to field Raj Babbar, at present an MP from Agra, in Lucknow.
Referring to Chadha's film, she said, "this is the first time I got an opportunity to work in a movie. I was working for the theatre for the last 25 years”.
