Lok Sabha was adjourned on Tuesday as a mark of respect to the memory of sitting BJP member Vishnu Datt who died in New Delhi on Tuesday morning. Datt, 75, represented Jammu parliamentary constituency. He was also a member of the 12th Lok Sabha. Paying tributes to the departed leader, Speaker G M C Balayogi said he was an active parliamentarian who was a member of the consultative committees of civil aviation and defence.
Datt was an ayurvedic practitioner and was awarded the fellowship of National Council for Indian system of Medicine.
