Islamabad, May 20: Pakistan-based militant group Hizbul Mujahideen today said it has not received any order from the Jamali government banning the outfit as well as restricting its movements in PoK. "We have not received any ban order so far and we believe that reports about the ban are not true," Hizbul spokesman, Saleem Hashmi, told a news agency, reacting to interior minister Faisel Saleh Hayat's remarks that his government has banned the militant outfit. Hashmi also said that no restrictions have been imposed on the group in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK).

"How can they restrict our movements in PoK?," he asked, adding his group has never carried out armed activities in PoK and all its militant camps existed in remote areas in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said so far his group was concerned it has not received any intimation from the government here banning its leaders and activists from entering PoK.

Hizbul leader, Syed Salahuddin, however declined to comment when contacted for his reaction.
