The Australian's agent Andrea D'Amico told this website: "I cannot comment on this situation at the moment - I am not confirming anything about what has been said about Mark."

He was believed to have been fined one week's wages, around £65,000.
Reid had left the door open for Viduka by saying that he would pick the striker for the trip to Fratton Park but fit-again Michael Bridges is likely to deputise once more.

Viduka had already been axed for the 4-1 defeat to Arsenal last weekend now this latest incident casts further doubt over his Elland Road career.

Viduka, who was signed for £6m in 2000, has scored just two goals for Leeds this season - his last came on 30 August. Bureau Report
