New Delhi, July 27: Two unidentified persons made an abortive attempt on the life of a Delhi Bajrang Dal leader when they shot at him while he was travelling in a car in a south-west Delhi area this evening, police sources said. Robin Sharma, local Bajrang Dal president, escaped unhurt in the attack in Dwarka area, the sources told newspersons.

They said two persons riding a motorbike fired at Sharma while he was travelling but his personal security officer retaliated forcing the attackers to flee.
Sharma has been facing a threat allegedly from the underworld dons and Delhi Police had a few months ago arrested two persons of Abu Salem gang when they were planning to target him, the sources said.
