Hyderabad, Aug 02: Apparently unwilling to rock the NDA boat on the Ayodhya issue, TDP supremo and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu today ducked a question on Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's pledge on construction of Ram Temple and reiterated that all parties should abide by Supreme Court's verdict on the issue. "From the beginning, our (TDP's) stand is very clear. All should await supreme court's judgement on the matter and abide by it," Naidu told reporters here when his reaction was sought on Vajpayee's statement in Ayodhya.

Beyond stating his party's known stand, Naidu refused to be dragged into discussion of the issue and smiled away repeated queries on the fresh controversy generated over Vajpayee's vow to construct temple at Ram Janmabhoomi at Ayodhya.

Earlier addressing TDP leaders at the party headquarters here, Naidu said that his party was extending outside support to the Central Government based on NDA agenda.
