The United States has said that India and Pakistan should make common cause against the scourge of terrorism and not fight each other.
“President George W Bush is of the view that both India and Pakistan should fight the terrorists who are trying to destabilise the region. They have a common cause against terrorist enemies. This is not a reason for India and Pakistan to take action against each other. This is a time for India and Pakistan to take action against the terrorists,” White House press secretary Ari Fleischer said on Tuesday.
