Vadodara, Nov 08: Two members of Pakistan fishermen's delegation, who was here to oversee release of 93 Pakistani fishermen in Gujarat jails, would leave Mumbai later tonight for Karachi after obtaining clearance from authorities, according to Indian Fishermen's Association president Veljibhai Masani. The delegation leader Abusar Mariwala and Haji Yakub were scheduled to return yesterday but the immigration authorities prevented them from boarding the aircraft till they got clearance from the CID, Masani told.

The luggage of Pak officials, whose visa expires on November 10, was also offloaded, he said.

The officials contacted Masani who in turn spoke to officials in reply to New Delhi including A K Singh, Joint Secretary in the External Affairs Ministry asking permission for the departure of Pakistani officials. The two who were in India since September 22 to oversee return of 93 Pakistani fishermen from jails in Gujarat, were to fly on a Karachi-bound flight via Dubai, late Friday night. Bureau Report
